You might die soon, but at least you won't die young...

....words of wisdom from Warm Butter.

We had a beautiful hike down the Bright Angel Trail to the Colorado River overlook. The crisp cool air was a nice change from the heat of the comp and of Vegas - that is, until our late arrival back at the rim at sunset...by that time our hands were nearly frostbitten. Even so, it couldn't have been a more perfect day.

As for Vegas, it was the most fun I've ever had there. Seems it was the ideal place and company for recharging the batteries. Took in 3 shows, each one even more amazing than the previous. First night was David Copperfield. I was expecting a bit of cheese, but it turned out to be a very entertaining show...that guy is quite the charmer ;-) Second night was the Cirque du Soleil show Ka at the MGM Grand. We were blown away, so much so that we opted to stay one more night in Vegas to catch "O", another very popular Cirque du Soleil show at the Bellagio. Both were breathtakingly beautiful and so very dreamlike. Lots of good memories of time spent with special friends.
