Finally in Italy

We had hoped for a practice day yesterday, but it was quite windy and we were the only ones rigging. We sent our batten boy up to check conditions and he immediately radioed that it was horrible and we should derig :-( Oh well, it was nice to catch up with all the pilots starting to arrive for the meet.

So we spent the day in Perugia....what a fantastic little city! There is a jazz festival going on now and the town was hopping - three stages in various places with great music - even stumbled on some cool graffiti, then found a little restaurant with the best food I've had since we arrived. Such a romantic setting...it couldn't have been more perfect.
